Coaching as a Path to Wholeness
Hi! I’m Stephanie B. Dunn and I am a coach.
This is an introduction I never imagined would be a part of my vocational journey. But here I am. Let me tell you a little bit about why I’m here.
I’m a United Methodist clergywoman who was ordained in Nashville, TN in 2009. Almost all of my ministry has been spent serving in local churches as a minister to children and their families with a lot of love and pastoral care for the adults in those faith communities, too. I understood my work in those communities to come down to one thing: creating safe spaces for all people to connect with God and the beauty of their inner selves so that they could participate in the healing of the world.
What I’ve come to realize is that I’ve been coaching for a very long time. The work of coaching is to create a safe and trusting space where deep and powerful questions move a person to act with integrity, agency, and courage in the world.
Coaching offers a person a transformative way to care for themselves, enabling them to extend care to others more profoundly. It empowers them to nurture their own well-being so that they can show up more fully in the world.
If you’re interested in hearing more or are looking to work with a coach, I would love to come alongside you on your journey. I would love the opportunity to discover with you the transformative power of coaching and the possibilities it offers for creating a more compassionate, connected, and courageous world.
